When it's hot outside
WATER PARKS
Some days can leave you hot and sweaty! Luckily, water parks have become a recent craze in Trinidad. From Harry's Water Park in Rio Claro, to Fun Splash in Debe, then up to Five Islands in Chaguaramas, if pools of water are your thing, they are where you want to be. Most reviews suggest Fun Splash as most children friendly, but each has their pros and cons. Entrance fees are also something you need to consider but in my opinion they're generally worth the cost.
ECO RESORTS
Eco Resorts are another new trend...everyone has a field, some animals and a pool nowadays. They even have cabins for rent if you want to make a night or a weekend out of it. You may have to pay an entry fee but these eco resorts can be truly relaxing, and most importantly fun! There's quite a few too, especially in the East. There's the Valencia Eco Resort in Valencia, Green Pastures Estate in Little Cora, Sangre Grande, and Trini River Lime in Matura, just to name a few. Click on the links for more information on each.
Water parks, yeps...
ReplyDeleteI have been to Trini River Lime and it was nice. Is that the one where you drive down the dirt road? If yes, I have been. The river is really clean. Nice lime for the adults and great for the kids with the slides and pool.
ReplyDeleteYup! That's the one!
ReplyDeleteTaking note of these ideas. First time I'm hearing of the water park in Debe though
ReplyDeleteI've actually never heard of Green Pastures Estate till now. Thanks! I think I'll pay that place a visit some time.
ReplyDeleteWhere we live the lake and splash pads are great when it's just too hot!! Its fun and everyone is exhausted and ready for bed when we get home.
